Four marks, one rule, every brand

Casino reviews and ratings: every brand, scored the same way

A casino review is worth reading when it tells you what will happen to your money at the cashier and at the border. Each review here answers the same questions: which of our markets the brand closes, whether the licence number sits in a public register, what the withdrawal ceiling is at the level you will start on, and what the aggregators' complaint files hold. The score is the mean of four marks, and a brand we could not verify enough is printed without one.

  • Closed markets on every card

Tier one: the brands our rankings stand on

These are the casinos the home page and the ranked lists draw from. Each has a licence we found in a register or a verifiable Anjouan number, a published no deposit offer that we typed into the form ourselves, and a review that names the countries it closes. Ranked by score.

Tier two: recommended for one reason each

A coin-only cashier, a casino that mints its own token, a brand that runs every bonus wager-free, a sportsbook with a 500% package and a leaked database. These casinos appear in the themed lists where their one reason matters and stay out of the general rankings; several carry no score yet, and the review says why.

Tier three: the Royal Partners family

Fresh, Sol, Jet, Rox, Izzi, Legzo, Starda, Drip, Monro, 1Go, Lex, Gizbo, Beef, Flagman and Martin run under one Curacao licence held by Galaktika N.V., and Kent belongs to the Cat family that shares an Anjouan one. Their offer shape is the same, 100 free spins at 45x, and so is their restricted list. The pages are complete; the brands are kept out of the rankings so that one licence holder does not fill a top ten.

How the score is set

Four marks out of 10, averaged to one decimal. Trust is 10 only when the licence number appears in the regulator's public register; without a published number the mark stops at 7.0, and a safety warning from a large aggregator lowers it, which is why Vodka sits at 8.0 with a Casino Guru index of 2.9 and Casino-X at 5.0 with an index of 3.5. Games counts studios and checks for cloned titles. Bonus terms weigh the wagering multiplier and whether the cashout cap is published. Support weighs channels, hours and languages against our markets.

The mark is ours and the facts under it are cited: register rows, aggregator complaint files, the operator's own terms where we could read them, and the casino's block page where we could not. A brand that changed licence, operator or geography this year has the change in the review, with the old number named so a reader can recognise it on stale pages elsewhere.

What the review does not do

It does not count games, because operator game counts vary by source from 1,500 to 13,000 for the same brand. It does not print a welcome bonus when four sources give four figures and the site cannot be read to settle it. It does not describe a payout as painless when the complaint file says otherwise. And it does not send a Polish reader to a casino that closes Poland, whatever the commission.

Rankings, regions and the comparison tool

The ranked lists answer one question each: the best in the world, the best in Europe, the newest, the best on a phone, the best cashback, the fastest payouts. Three region pages cover the markets the country pages do not. The comparison tool filters the whole catalogue by country, deposit method and currency.

By region

Playing big

Withdrawal ceilings, maximum bets and VIP ladders are where casinos differ most and say least. The high roller page compares the limits at the level you start on and the level you can reach, with the VIP programmes at Stake and Duel taken apart on their own pages.

Questions about the ratings

How is the score calculated

Four marks out of 10, for trust, games, bonus terms and support, averaged to one decimal. Trust reaches 10 only when the licence number is found in the regulator's public register; without a published number the mark is capped at 7.0, and a safety warning from a major aggregator lowers it further. Brands we could not verify enough are printed without a score at all.

What are the three tiers

Tier one is the brands our rankings and the home page are built on. Tier two are casinos we recommend for one reason each, a coin cashier, a token, a no-wagering rule, and place in themed lists only. Tier three is the Royal Partners family: sixteen brands under one licence whose pages are complete and which we keep out of the rankings on purpose.

Why is a brand with a 9.8 at Casino Guru below one with a 7.8 here

Because our score weighs what a reader from our markets meets: which countries are closed, whether the interface and chat exist in their language, whether the payout ceiling is published, and whether the licence can be checked. A casino can be honest at the tables and closed to Poland; the review says both.

Do you take money from the casinos

The links marked as partner links pay a commission when a reader registers. The score does not know which link pays what: the marks are set from the facts on the page, and several brands with partner links sit in the second tier or carry no score.
