The bonus pages are the centre of gravity. Everything else exists to answer the question that follows a bonus: this one is closed to my country, so which one is open, and what happens at the cashier.

How a casino gets on the list

It has to be a brand readers are already searching for by name, publish terms we can read, and have an offer worth explaining. That is a low bar on purpose: we would sooner cover a mediocre casino honestly than pretend it does not exist while readers search for it. Whether it accepts your own country is a separate question, settled by that brand's own terms on its review page.

What we do not do is rank by commission. Some brands here pay us more than others and it does not move their score, because a rating that follows the payout is worth nothing to you and, in the long run, nothing to us either. One group of brands sits outside the rankings altogether while keeping full pages; the reviews hub says which and why.

How the score is built

One number out of ten, the plain average of four marks: trust, library, bonus and support. Trust reaches ten only for a licence number found on the regulator's public register, and is capped where the number cannot be found; safety warnings on independent trackers lower it. Brands we have not finished scoring carry no number, and the review says why. The editorial page sets out each mark and what it cannot measure.

Who we are not

Casinosss is not a casino. We take no deposits, run no games and hold no player funds, and it has no power as a regulator to force a casino to pay you; if one withholds your money, the route runs through its licensing authority and, where the casino uses one, its complaints mediator, and the blocked account guide sets out the steps.

We are also not a legal service. Gambling law differs in every country on this site, and in several of them the offshore casinos we cover sit outside the local licensing regime. Where that is the case the country page says so plainly, at the top.

Where the money comes from

Links to casinos. If you open an account through one, the casino may pay us. That is the entire business model, it is why the site can afford to check codes, and it is the reason our method is written out in full on the editorial page and in the verification page, where a reader can hold us to it.
